Treasure in the Yukon
Scruggs unsuccessfully tries to bow out when his friend Jack Derwood requests his company on a search expedition for lost gold in the Yukon. When Jean arrives on the scene, Penny and Jack aren't at all sure they want their shy little sister hanging around. But Scruggs has some surprising things to say about that, and they end up working together as a team to solve the mystery.

Abandoned
A vacation to Uncle Bill's turns sour when Scruggs, Annette, and the three oldest Derwoods are abandoned in the woods of New England. With most of their luggage stolen and no maps to guide them, the group struggles to survive as they search for a way back to civilization. Meanwhile, they realize they have an enemy out in the woods who continues to follow them.
