Book Awards Announced

This morning, the American Library Association announced the winners of this year's major book awards. The winner of the John Newbery Medal for the most distinguished contribution to children's literature was Neil Gaiman for The Graveyard Book. The winner of the Randolph Caldecott Medal for the most distinguished picture book for children was Beth Krommes for The House in the Night. For the complete list, visit ALA's website.
